Who we are
Jeff Feldman served over 24 years as a decorated Supervisory United States Probation Officer in the Southern District of Florida (SD/FL), demonstrating a strong dedication to public safety and the criminal justice system. Prior to his federal appointment, he gained more than a decade of experience as a State Probation/Parole Specialist (CPS) with the Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC). During his career, he was entrusted with National Security Cases, holding a Top Secret (T/S) clearance to handle classified and confidential information with the utmost responsibility. Additionally, he handled cases involving the Classified Information and Protection Act (CIPA) involving National Security cases charged in United States District Court. Jeff handled some of the highest profile cases in the Southern District of Florida to include National & Local Politicians, Law Enforcement Officials, Domestic & International Terrorists, Cybercriminals, Complex Fraud, Corporate offenders including multinational public companies and environmental crimes.
Jeff earned his Baccalaureate Degree at Florida State University and pursued graduate studies at Florida International University. After his lengthy public service career, he founded his own Private Investigation Agency. His practice centers on criminal defense, probation supervision in all its facets, and comprehensive background checks tailored for both individuals and employers. Additionally, the agency undertakes a wide range of general investigations and provides specialized boutique services focused on complex probation issues.
John Steinhilber
Investigator
John Steinhilber honorably served the Federal Judiciary for 24 years in a law enforcement capacity as a United States Probation Officer, both in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (ED/PA) and the Southern District of Florida (SD/FL). His job as a United States Probation Officer involved holding a Top-Secret (T/S) Clearance, as he was entrusted with the handling of important and sensitive information, records, and documents. Over the course of his career in Federal Law Enforcement, he demonstrated both a dedication and strong commitment to public safety and the criminal justice system. He received numerous awards, supervised and investigated both individual and corporate criminal offenders. Half of his career was spent in the Special Offender Unit, he excelled in this work. In this unit he interfaced on a daily basis with other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, and members of the legal community. He supervised cases involving organized crime, terrorism, street gangs, career criminals, fraud and corporate offenders. Prior to his federal career he served 4 years, as an Investigator for the State of Florida, Adult Protective Services Division. He investigated abuse, neglect, medical neglect and financial exploitation of Florida’s vulnerable disabled and senior citizen populations. In this capacity, he interacted on a daily basis with victims, defendants, law enforcement, attorneys and members of the medical community. Additionally, he handled and analyzed sensitive medical, legal and financial records, and documents in the course of his investigative work. Furthermore, early on in his professional career, he worked several years in corporate security for Honeywell in one of their defense contract divisions. He held a Top-Secret (T/S) Security Clearance issued by the Department of Defense (DOD) and he was entrusted with protecting the physical plant, employees, equipment, records and sensitive documents.
John received his Baccalaureate Degree from the University of Massachusetts. Additionally, he participated in and completed many investigative and employment related coursework/training, throughout his tenure with both the State of Florida and Federal Government. His goal is to always assist the client in the best way possible through professionalism and the investigative process.
